We Ride Year Round!
Come enjoy a relaxing Trail Ride on miles of green pastures, meadows and forests. Our horses are safe and reliable for beginners, intermediate and advance riders. We're located in the Elk Mills area at the southern tip of Fair Hill, MD.  All ages welcome (children less than 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult).
We also offer Riding Lessons, Horse Training, Boarding, Leasing and much more!

Riding Season is upon us...weather is great, trees are turning green and the trails are waiting! So we will still try to make it out to Tractor Supply on Route 40 Elkton MD on Sundays from 12:30 to 3:00
on the days  that we're not booked up!
So keep an eye out for us and if you see us there stop in for a free pony ride and to meet the PHR gang!

ABOUT WOLF
Originally from Monterey Bay, California, Wolf Portugal came to Cecil County, Maryland for a visit and really liked the area. When given an opportunity to start his own working horse ranch, he relocated to Cecil County 4 years ago. He now owns and operates the Painted Horse Ranch doing something he loves.
